Pam Jemelian Bio:
Crafting and design have always been a part of Pam's life. She can trace the roots of her knitting obsession with yarn to a long family heritage of quilters, seamstresses, and of course, knitters. There are very few places Pam goes that at least a small skein of yarn and some knitting needles don’t go as well. If she isn't knitting, then you can usually find her pet sitting for the company she runs and owns. She is a six year survivor of breast cancer, and attributes a lot of downtime during her treatment to the launching of her career in knitting design. You can find over 40 of her designs on Ravelry, and also many of her knitted pieces for sale at her shop, WingShadowWraps on Etsy.com. She specializes in lace work and shawls, and is currently taking classes on knitted sweater design and modular knitting. Her design work for Cascade Yarn is her first professional experience with published knitting patterns.
